Titans, GO! Watch the Teen Titans Go! to the Movies Teaser Trailer
If Aquaman can get a movie, anyone can! Teen Titans GO! is so self-aware at this point and it’s truly one of the best things about the popular Cartoon Network series. The difference? Aquaman’s movie isn’t going to be filled with over the top musical numbers and laugh out loud satire that’s too clever for its own good. That’s what TTG does best! In a level of meta-ness that can only be pulled off by the Teen Titans, everyone’s favorite crime-fighting weirdos are headed to the big screen in a movie called, well, Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.
The first teaser trailer dropped today, and we’re so excited to see Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven hit the big screen and take on Hollywood in all their ridiculous glory. Check it out here.

The teaser kicks off with Robin being Robin. “Do you know what makes a real hero? It’s not the costumes, the gadgets, the cool powers. It’s having your own movie!” Seems that way sometimes, right? Superhero movies are great, but they’re everywhere these days, hitting theaters what feels like every weekend at this point. The gang goes on and on about how much they love Wonder Woman (who doesn’t?, she’s amazing!) and then as the narrator guy does his thing we see them take on Balloon Man in the most Teen Titans GO! way ever. With the fart joke to end all fart jokes!
The trailer is just a taste of the fun to come. In Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, Robin brings the Teens from Jump City to Hollywood to try and land their own superhero movie. Here’s what you can expect according to the official synopsis:
“It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!”
The show definitely has its critics, which Beast Boy addresses directly in the teaser “No one wants to see us!”. Really though, if kids everywhere weren’t totally crazy for Teen Titans GO!, it wouldn’t be able to land a movie deal. (Let alone a Summer blockbuster release date!) Grab your popcorn and gear up for the most fun DC superhero movie adventure since LEGO Batman!
It’s going to be a super-sized Summer for fans of animated heroes as Incredibles 2 hits theaters in June. It’s kinda obvious the Teens are here to stay, and we just can’t wait to see them save the world on the big screen!
