With the school year coming to an end, it’s time to unwind and spend the next few months having a total blast at the beach, the park, or just scrolling through TikTok at home as you relax from a year of homework and tests – and we’ve got just the cure – T.A.P.E.S – the game where size matters and guesstimates rule!
T.A.P.E.S., or Turn-Based. Approximate. Proportion. Estimation. Showdown. is a bizarre new game that asks the important questions, like “How many gummy bears tall is that lamp?” or “How wide is the TV in hamsters?” While a game filled with measuring tapes might seem like math homework – it’s the total opposite! It’s pure silly fun for you and your besties to have an epic game night. Here’s the deets:
In T.A.P.E.S., players receive 16 wacky units of measurement. From unicorn horns to honeybees, you’ll use these unconventional and super silly items to guesstimate the size of the objects around them. Players will choose an item in the room they’re in and then spin the wheel to see which unit of measurement everyone will be using. Then, everyone jots down a guess of the object’s size – and the person who guesses closest will win and get to choose a new room and object for the next round.
It’s easy enough for anyone to play, which means it’s great for summer camp game night, babysitting gigs, or even family BBQs, and it will keep everyone laughing for hours!
