WEEKEND VIBES: Luke Speakman Dishes on his Ultimate Dream Weekend & Favorite Shows
In our newest edition of WEEKEND VIBES, we’re chatting with Luke Speakman about all his weekend favs!
Luke has been acting for most of his life, landing his first role at just five years old for the Disney+ series Steven Speilberg’s Amazing Stories. Now, at ten years old, he’s juggling multiple projects, with two new releases this holiday season, Christmas With the Jerks and How the Gringo Stole Christmas. He may be young, but his acting roles have allowed him to travel the world, including filming in Tokyo and living a bi-coastal life in both Atlanta and LA. With lots of new projects in the works, you’ll be seeing much more of Luke in the coming years!
When he isn’t auditioning or on set, Luke loves riding his bike, playing chess, and is even training to be a ninja warrior! He is also passionate about giving back and helps raise money and awareness for Two Thumbs Up, a non-profit organization supporting young people with Autism and other special needs.

GOING OUT OR STAYING IN?: Going out! There’s no way I am staying in!
KICK IT SOLO OR INVITE THE SQUAD?: Invite the squad!
DREAM WEEKEND PLANS: First, we will pile into a private jet and head straight to an Imagine Dragons concert with front-row seats, followed by the most epic Nerf battle ever competed! Then, we will swing by the nearest Beast Burger and eat until we can’t move. We will finish the weekend off playing video games all night long!
PICK YOUR FIT: I am always comfy if I can be. I travel a lot, so you can spot me in the airport wearing athletic shorts, my adventure mode t-shirt, tennis shoes, my yellow zip-up hoodie, and, of course, a hat!
DREAM PARTY CRASHER: Mr. Beast is always welcome to crash my party plans! I have always wanted to meet him in person and ask him for a shoutout on his channel.
WEEKEND ANTHEM: It is a tie between Believer by Imagine Dragons or We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift. (I may or may not be a mini Swiftie!)
SNACK TIME:
BREAKFAST FAV: Always Cinnamon Toast Crunch with a little bit of milk and golden waffles with maple syrup on the side!
LATE NIGHT SNACK: A big ole bowl of popcorn!
FAV PIZZA TOPPING: Always pepperoni!
SWEET SIPS: A Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with whipped cream!
UNWIND:
SELF-CARE STYLE: Ride my bike around the neighborhood and chat with the neighbors.
WHAT ARE YOU READING?: I have been reading through the Dogman book series. Currently on the last one!
FEEL GOOD SHOWS/MOVIES: Definitely Ultimate Beastmaster, Is it Cake?, and Nailed It! I secretly want to be a ninja warrior and a chef!
GO-TO SHOWER BELT-OUT JAM: I have been caught many times jamming to Believer!
MONDAYS ARE: Awesome because I am virtually schooled and we do not have live lessons on Mondays!
