LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures

If the LEGO Movie and alllllllllllll those LEGO video games have taught us anything, it’s that we should trust every brand and franchise we love in their hands, because they’re bound to give us something filled with laughs and wild adventure. That being said, we definitely have super high hopes for “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures”, a new series hitting DisneyXD this summer.

The show will take place between Episode V and VI (The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, two movies from the original trilogy.) It’s also the same timeframe as Star Wars Rebels, which also airs on DisneyXD (can you say awesome “crossover potential?!”), and will focus on a new family of characters, the Freemakers.

The Freemakers are scavengers who scour for debris left behind from star battles and build and sell starships they piece together themselves. (Sounds very Lego-esque!) When their son discovers a connection to the Force through the Kyber Saber, an ancient artifact, his life is changed forever and his family is hurled into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and order to the galaxy.

“The Freemaker Adventures” promise new worlds, both new character and fan favorites, and of course, the importance of family. With LEGO and Disney teamed up for this show, it’s destined for sheer epicness. We can’t wait to hear more about the show and share it with you guys as info is released!
