New year, new Shimmering Star! We’re celebrating 2024 by chatting with one of your favorite content creators (& ours, of course!), Jasmine Mir!
Jasmine ended 2023 like a firework, sparkling as she rocked her first acting role, overcame her fear of flying, and celebrated her sixteenth birthday. From her appearance on the latest season of BratTV’s Mani to the content she creates with her family, Jasmine’s talents (& fierce style) are undeniable in everything she does.
With the new year finally here, she’s looking forward to making even more videos, inspiring her followers to follow their dreams, and hopefully even more acting! When she’s not making you laugh on YouTube or serving up serious makeup and outfit inspo, Jasmine loves going to Disney World, dancing, and shopping. Her biggest dream? To design a fashion line with her mom and sister!

Tell us a little bit about YOU!
JASMINE MIR: I’m super into makeup and fashion. I love filming YouTube videos, inspiring others to follow their dreams, and making people laugh. I’m also a dancer and actress.
I’m obsessed with pink, and I don’t go anywhere without my mascara and lipgloss! I love Starbucks coffee, Chick-fil-A, and pizza!
You had a role in Season 8 of Mani on Brat TV! Tell us a little bit about your experience.
JASMINE: I really loved acting! Being in an episode of Mani made me realize that I want to continue pursuing acting. Everyone was super sweet and fun to work with on set.
The best part was being able to act for the first time with my little sister, even though we were on different episodes.
You traveled to LA with your family to film the series – what were a few highlights of your trips/what did you love most about LA?
JASMINE: I got to go to Disneyland and California Adventure for the first time & it was so much fun! I enjoyed shopping! I got to visit YouTube’s LA office. I got to try In-N-Out.
Seeing the Hollywood sign for the first time was really special. I got to meet my amazing manager in person for the first time. I also got past my fear of flying, and now I love it and can’t wait to travel more. LA was so beautiful, and I can’t wait to go back!
2024 has arrived! What are you looking forward to most in the new year?
JASMINE: I want to continue following my dreams and passion by working on both my family channel and my personal channel and inspiring others to do what they love. I want to continue traveling and getting to meet new people. I’d also like to get into modeling.
But mainly, I want to continue working on becoming a better version of myself!
How do you shine bright?
JASMINE: I shine bright by always being myself and always spreading kindness wherever I go!
The women who inspire me are…
JASMINE: My mom Maria, my sister Bella, my grandma Lala, my aunt Vanessa, and Kim Kardashian. They are all icons and I aspire to be like them!
I am most passionate about…
JASMINE: YouTube, acting, and dance.
I feel most confident when…
JASMINE: I’m wearing pink, LOL!
My biggest dream is…
JASMINE: To star in a movie or show. I would also love to work with Disney someday and create a fashion line with my mom and sister.
The advice I want to share with other girls is…
JASMINE: Always follow your dreams. Be yourself!
