If you’ve been following along with Legends of Magic, you know that Sunburst uncovered Starswirl the Bearded’s personal accounts of classic Equestrian folklore. He’s been reading along, learning the truth behind the hidden secrets of Equestria. In My Little Pony: Legends of Magic #5, he realizes that he’s reading a tale of a pony he’s never heard of.
In this issue, we don’t just get to learn of the legendary Somnambula, we get a surprise visit from a fan-favorite pony! Pinkie Pie bursts in on a cannon while party planning and causes a bit of a commotion. Thankfully, she brings a bit of knowledge along with her mess. Pinkie Pie has not only heard of Somnambula, a heroic pony from Southern Equestria, it’s one of her favorite tales!
