He’s been reading along, learning the truth behind the hidden secrets of Equestria. In My Little Pony: Legends of Magic #5, he realizes that he’s reading a tale of a pony he’s never heard of.
In this issue, we don’t just get to learn of the legendary Somnambula, we get a surprise visit from a fan-favorite pony! Pinkie Pie bursts in on a cannon while party planning and causes a bit of a commotion. Thankfully, she brings a bit of knowledge along with her mess. Pinkie Pie has not only heard of Somnambula, a heroic pony from Southern Equestria, it’s one of her favorite tales!
