5 Reasons You Don’t Want to Miss The O.W.C.A Files
Today is gonna be a great day, Phineas and Ferb fans! The O.W.C.A. Files airs Monday night on Disney XD, which means we finally get a little glimpse back into the wacky world that is the Tri-State Area. The O.W.C.A. Files doesn’t star our two favorite cartoon brothers, but it does star Perry the Platypus and Dr. Doofenshmirtz! Here’s what you need to know about the special.
1. Agent P is back in action! (and lookin’ real sharp in his 1940’s fedora!)
Perry, aka, Agent P, is headed out on another world-saving adventure. This time, he’s on the case to take down Professor Parenthesis after he takes down the other animals with an awful robotic flea attack.
2. Dr. Doofenshmirtz is retired from evil, and is playing with the good guys this time around!
That’s right. Heinz has been recruited into the Agency. It’ll be interesting to see what he’s like when he’s not being a masterminding evil dude.
3. There’s lots of awesome music!
In typical Phineas and Ferb fashion, there’s lots of awesome catchy tunes in this special. Four, to be exact. The songs are:
– “O.W.C.A. Files” – which is the theme song about the animals saving the day in brown fedoras. (And reminding us all that O.W.C.A. stands for Organization Without a Cool Acronym!)
– “They Left Me Standing Outside” – which is a sad song sung by Dr. Doofenshmirtz when he feels left out. (It’s sung by Kenny Loggins in real life, which will make your parents laugh. Just ask them.)
– “Ain’t Nobody Got a Friend Like Mine” – a song about friendship. Yay friendship!
– “Bits of All of Us” – yet another Doofenshmirtz ditty where he literally spells out the meaning of Teamwork to his fellow agents.
4. It’s the last little bit of the Phineas and Ferb universe that’s left!
Unless the show creators randomly decide to do a reunion special or something, this is the final bit of Phineas and Ferb we’ve got left to watch. Love it. Obsess over it. Maybe if we love it hard enough, we’ll get more in the future. (It’s not all sad news though, the show’s creators are working on a new show called Milo Murphy’s Law!)
5. It looks like it’s destined to be everything we’d hope an Agent P special would be.
Fierce, cunning, and good with a grappling hook! (Not to mention cool as heck!) Here’s a sneak peek from SDCC over the summer, in case you haven’t seen it yet!
Well, that’s about all we can share without getting into spoiler territory! Don those brown fedoras and get to watching!
