Pinky Malinky

Pinky Malinky is an upcoming Nickelodeon cartoon about an infectiously positive hot dog trying to make his way in the human world. Check out the teaser here.

The show will follow Pinky and his two best friends as they try to navigate life, social media, and school. It will be done in a “mockumentary” format, which means that the characters can talk to the camera and audience and comment about what’s going on around them, kinda like a reality tv show. Pinky and his friends have unique outlook on life and have super silly personalities, so we’re definitely in for a ton of LOLs! Being a hot dog, Pinky has an unusual perspective on day to to day life – because being a “wiener” is only one letter away from being a “winner”!

There will be additional content posted digitally on social media and the Nick.com website and app that tie in to what’s happening on the show and references being made in each episode, which means you’ll be able to chill with Pinky 24/7! The series was created by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern who both worked on The Amazing World of Gumball, making them two people who can definitely rock the live action/animation mashed up style with ease.

Pinky Malinky doesn’t premiere until 2016, but it sounds like it’s worth the wait!
