Maya Hart Outfit
Girl Meets World Season 2 has been amazing so far! Riley and Maya are now in 8th grade and some of the old cast members from Boy Meets World have been introduced into the show. (FEENAYY!) Their bond with their friends is growing even stronger as they learn more about each other and take on the world together. We recently posted some tips on how to get a Riley inspired look, so now it’s time for a Maya Hart outfit!
Maya’s style is a bit edgier than Riley’s and she tends to mix styles and trends in her own way. She’s got more of a tough girl, rocker vibe and often wears camo, leopard print, and studs galore!
First up – tops! Maya pairs graphic tees/tanks with jackets/vests pretty often. She’s really into layers and when she’s not wearing the tee/jacket pair, she’ll rock a torn up shirt over fishnet or layer her tops in other unique ways. Our picks for how to rock a Maya inspired top would be a kitten graphic tee, anything with BROOKLYN on it, a camo tank, a band tee, or anything yellow. Maya wears a lot of yellow!
For jackets, try a leopard print or camo army jacket. A leather jacket totally works for Maya too, bonus points for studs/spikes. For a day where a jacket doesn’t really make sense, you could try a denim vest, and switch up studs for pearls, sequins, or other cool flair. Bedazzle it yourself for an even more unique touch!
Ripped denim jeans or shorts are a great choice for bottoms. Layer a pair of fun leggings or tights under them for a cool effect under the rips and tears! Striped bottoms or other bold patterns also work really well for your Maya outfit. Swap out pants for a skirt to make your look a little more girly.
No Maya look would be complete without some killer boots! Maya’s shoe game is totally on point, and yours can be too! Try out all different types of styles to see which you like best or pairs best with your outfit. If you’re not into boots, you can try some sneakers like the ones above. Converse sneakers are great to pair with an edgy outfit.
Accessories for your Maya outfit should be pretty easy. Maya wears a very special heart shaped locket that her mom gave her – so a locket is a must have for any Maya inspired outfit. Glittery or studded accessories also work really well. We’re loving the idea of this engraved ring for a Maya look too. Maya’s life isn’t always easy, so having a positive message inscribed inside a ring as a reminder seems like the perfect choice for her.
Add some dark, minimal nail art and you’ve got yourself a perfect outfit!
