Female Scientist Legos

Girls (and boys!) – get excited! Lego is about to release a few sets of female scientist Legos! These 3 sets will come out in August and they will include an astronomer, a paleontologist, and a chemist. These female scientist Legos will be a part of the regular line of Lego products and not the super pink girly line, Lego Friends. It’s nice to see some girl power outside of Lego Friends, because girls can do ANYTHING! Lego Friends are way cute, but we think it’s important for young girls to understand that they can do more than just go on cruises and work at bakeries!

These awesome female scientist Lego sets were inspired by a real life scientist and Lego fan, Ellen Kooijman. Thanks Ellen and Lego for believing in girl power! These Legos sets are an inspiration, and we hope to see even more awesome female inspired Lego sets in the future!
