DIY Temporary Tattoos
Springtime means we’re finally all ready to start peeling off the layers and rocking tees, tanks, shorts, and dresses, which means there’s lots of room for sweet temporary tattoos. While temporary tattoos already come in a ton of different styles, wouldn’t it be even cooler to create your own? With this DIY Temporary Tattoo tutorial, you’ll be able to create your very own tattoos that you can rock all Spring and Summer long! This is also a really fun idea activity to do with your friends at a birthday party or sleepover.
You’ll Need:
– A Computer
– Printable Tattoo Paper
– A Printer
– Scissors
– Your favorite drawing tool (pen, marker, crayon)
– A Parent, for help!
Steps:
1. Find an image online that you like and save it to your computer. If you’re artistic – you can create your own design on the computer OR you can draw your own design directly on the tattoo paper. If you draw right onto the paper, skip to step 4.
2. If you find an image/design your idea on the computer, make sure to reverse the image (this is super important so that your design appears the right way once you add it to your skin!)
3. Save the image, and print onto the Tattoo Paper. Make sure you print on the shiny side.
4. Take the clear plastic sheet from the tattoo paper pack and press the sticky side onto your printed design. Rub it with your fist to make sure it sticks.
5. Use your scissors to cut around the image
6. Stick it to your body! Peel back the paper, stick it where you want it to go on your body, and dab it with a damp towel/sponge. Remove the paper, and voila! Super awesome DIY temporary tattoo! You’re officially the coolest kid on the planet!
