Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: The Series

The gang from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs are gearing up for their big TV premiere! Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs: The Series will take place before the events of the two movies, so we’ll get to see what Flint and Sam were like as teenagers!

Back before Flint made giant food fall from the sky, Swallow Falls was known for it’s sardines. The entire economy thrived on the catching, canning, and exporting of sardines.

Flint was just a nerdy kid who loved science and doesn’t care at all about fish. His best friend Sam was the new girl in town with big dreams of becoming the school reporter. The two of them team up and make awesome inventions (along with the help of Steve the monkey!) that help make Swallow Falls as less boring place to be.

The rest of the gang are coming back as well. Flint’s dad still doesn’t have much to say, but his Bait and Tackle shop is open and thriving. Brent is still modeling in diapers. Earl is working as the school gym teacher because he hasn’t become a cop yet. And Manny is running the school AV department. It’s gonna be great to see the gang as their younger selves!

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs: The Series is still in production, so we won’t be seeing it for awhile, but when it does, it will be headed to Boomerang.
